Q: What is included in your packages?
A: Our Standard Materials List can be found here. These items and services are provided with each package. You will find our package to be very complete in comparison to the kits offered by many of our competitors. We provide all of the materials necessary to make your home lockable and weather-tight. Plus we include many other extras to make it easy to finish your home. Upgrade options are also available.

Q: How much does it cost for delivery?
A: Delivery within the Continental US is included in the package price. Costs for delivery elsewhere varies. Please contact us for a price quote.
Q: What additional expenses do I need to plan for?
A: The following items, which are not included in our packages, are needed to complete your home project:

- Utilities
- Foundation
- Paint and Stain
- Mechanical Systems (Plumbing, Heating & Electric)
- Drywall for Framed Walls
- Cabinetry
- Counter Tops

Q: What kind of wood can I build my home with?
A: Our standard packages include timbers made with Western Red Cedar. Other available species include: Douglas Fir/Larch, Ponderosa Pine, and Southern Pine. Call for availability of Alaska Yellow Cedar, Redwood, White Fir and Idaho White Pine.
Q: Can you send a package to my area?
A: We ship our packages anywhere in the world.
Q: Can you build my home?
A: We can provide dry-in erection service anywhere in the world. Turnkey service is available for projects within our local area. Outside of our local area we can provide planning and hiring assistance.
Q: Can I purchase a stock plan to build on my own?
A: Yes! We now sell stock plan construction sets. Order Securely.
Q: Will you do custom designs?
A: Yes. Our in-house design department will work with you to modify one of our existing plans or create a new plan based on your ideas and preferences.
Q: How can I get a quote on my own design?
A: Fax or mail us your ideas and sketches and we will provide a free price quote.
Q: Do you have more pictures?
A: Our Home Planning Guide includes many photos and is free. We have additional photos of many of our homes. Let us know which specific home plan you have in mind and we will send you photos if available.
Q: Do you have any homes that I can visit?
A: We have a model located in Northern Colorado. Click here to get more information on how to visit us.
Q: Do you have any references?
A: Call us toll free for a copy of our reference list.
Q: Can I build the home myself?
A: Yes. Many of our customers build all or part of their homes. We provide on-site training with the delivery of each package to help you get started.
Q: What is a study plan?
A: Study Plan Sets are detailed plans that are useful to help with cost estimating, determining room sizes and getting more familiar with your favorite Cedar Home! Each set, available in printable PDF format includes:

Q: Can you work with my budget?
A: Yes. One benefit of the package system we offer is that we guarantee the pricing for all of the elements to make your home lockable and weather-tight. Although our standard packages include top-of-the-line timber wall systems and tongue and groove roof system, it is possible to reduce costs by switching to a different wall or roof system. Call us to discuss these options.
Q: Can I switch out some of your standard materials?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I delete certain items from the package?
A: Yes. You can delete any item which is non-structural. For example, you can delete windows, doors or trim but not wall timbers or beams.
Q: Do you work with builders in other states?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you do commercial projects?
